H-T Knowledge base anyone?

I've asked some of the people who run the boards about this but it seems like everyone takes this as an almost impossible task but I believe that it's worth a shot.

Is there anyone interested in helping to organize the information in the FI forum or one of the smaller h-t boards? I post this here because it seems to me like people are more attached to this forum than anywhere else and it could improve the "quality" of posts. It may very well be easier/smarter to start with a smaller board but sparking any kind of interest would help get something moving in the right direction.

It's going to require a considerable amount of time and familiarity with FI and hondas overall. The key I believe is going to be to locate the most accurate information on the board. An improved version of the back to basics thread, with some kind of a hi-lite on definitive answers.

Work involved:
Defining topics, searching for existing accurate/clear answers, collecting/organizing the information.

Any takers?

If this is impossible for whatever reason and a serious but failed attempt has taken place in the past then just delete the post.

 

Are you referring to updating the FAQ knowledge base or are you attempting to copy paste write-ups into one thread?

I can help either way. Cannot devote too much time, but certainly will help as much as I can

 

It would have to be a general agreement on what the best method would be for creating the index, not necessarily copy/paste but that could be a good way to do it.

Data would be easier to find if it was organized into categories/sub-cats:

Engine Build Ups
--- Pistons
--- Rods
--- Bearings

Turbo Manifolds
--- Custom
--- Cast
--- Comparisons

Intercoolers
--- Power Rating
--- Sizing
.
.
.
Piping
Downpipes
Exhausts
Bolton Turbo Kits
Fuel System
Turbo Oil Setups
Dyno

etc etc etc...

Answers would be easier to find and understand if they are categorized accordingly...

Allright, well I guess I'll just take some time to organize a small section so some people can realize the benefits... if not then we'll just chunk it since there is no interest.
