honda newbie, dsm old timer....b18c question
whats up board, this is my first real post, since the whole 20 day trial caa caa. first here is a breif backround on me: I currently own a 92 mitsubishi GSX(big 16g, 3" thermal cat-back, K&N, mbc, walboro 255lph fp, act 2600, hksTT, logger)
I do all the work to it myself. I took a ASE cert course on engine internals and related components, got an A.
ok so my question is, what is the postential(hp, and 1/4 mile time and ET) of a b18c engine fully built, in a 98 integra, T3t4 .60A/R(sorry that is all i know about the turbo rigt now), aem ems, big *** fmic, full supporting mods.
i know there are alot of unknown variables that i have not provided but if guys can help me out with some estimates, that would be great.
p.s. i took a drive in it and it felt like a high 12, but he said the clutch was slipping. the car is in the shop now and it is getting a intake mani and clutch.

how much boost? it should be faster then a high 12, I ran a 13.20 @ 105 on a bone stock b18c1 with a revhard turbo kit @ 7 psi. that was with a 2.0 60 ft

Re: honda newbie, dsm old timer....b18c question (92GSXBaltimore)
Depending on if theres any more boost. I would say more then 510 hp if it was tuned and i would also tell you to race him with your car ith c16 and 20psi on street tires none of those big *** tires, or drag radials just some regular kumhos. If the cars has a built motor meaning head gasket, arps, sleeves, rods and piston, with maybe some stainless valves if a gsr makes 170 hp and you put 14.7 psi on it it will make 340 hp and at 29.4 psi it should make 510 hp. As long as the motor can handle the pressure and you can tune it to not have knock then you should have that kind of power with a nice size turbo. The fuel system also must be adressed because with out fuel, air and spark your not going anywhere. I dont know what kind of turbo is a t3/t4 and the 60 do you mean 60 trim. You also have to know housing sizes so you could look at flow maps. I hope this help you and this is what i think, people will comment on what I have to say if they think anything is wrong.
