Default The Honda Bastard engine and boost

I have a 91 prelude with the B20A in it, it came with the B20A5. I disposed of it one day by hitting a wrong gear. Anyway.

I am selling all my NA stuff and nitrous kit to go FI. I am gonna do a T25 at say 7-8psi to start with. I have been reading on here for 2 days straight. I think i finally figured out what I want.

I want to do the dsm injectors with AFC and a new fuel pump. And I want a small IC to keep it cool. I see everyone say that the hack works on any engine. But I can't find many references to the bastard child Honda had that the world disowned

I know dsm injectors are a direct swap, so that means I don't need the resistor pack? I couldn't find an answer to that. And at that level of boost do I need an MSD BTM? Or can I just set the timing back manually enough?

And is an in-line pump or in tank better? And I guess when you do an in line you remove the oem pump? Also when doing this, how is the gas mileage? And if you shift granny style out of boost will you get decent mileage?

I know it's quite a few questions. I searched and even read that 18page hack thread. I just can't find hardly any info on FI with this engine. if thers anythign else I need to know, please tell me. Thanx for the help.

Being that your car already has a resistor box, the DSM injectors will be easy install.. might just need to bore out the injector seals that go into the intake manifold..i had to on mine.. just use a dremmel and get it to fit snuggly over the intector.. And if you dont feel like hacking up your injector clips u can purchase DSM clips.. For the hack most people reccomend a walbro 255lph INTANK pump.
BTM is pointless because with the hack it causes the map sensor to throw ignition timing up anyway.. the hack would be great if it didnt go that. If you tune it decently you could probly get decent gas milage.

Ok this timing thing. I have been reading that it does go up some and I have been reading that it doesn't hurt anything. Which is it? I know this is low boost, but the IC will help against detonation will it not?
