Safely boosting??
i have a 2000 civic EX (i don't know wtf ek eg all that crap means so i list my car the n00b way), and i'm planning to boost. i just want to know the minimum amount of stuff i need to buy in order to boost at 6psi and drive safely.. basically my rationale for this is that i want to boost, i just don't have to $$ to get everything i really want.
so, will i be ok with the apex-i kit w/intercooler, blitz bov, turbo timer, a boost gague, apex-i catback exhaust, and a v-afc?
later when i have more $$ i plan to get a walboro 255 fuel pump, rc 440cc injectors, profec-b, new clutch/flywheel... comments and opinions appreciated.. i just wanna boost safely, but i'm trying to cut costs cause i have no patience lolz...

might as weel go ahead and get the fuel pump and injectors. You can get the pump for about $130 depending on who you go through, and a set of 450cc dsm injectors for like $75 and if you want to be safe get the injectors cleaned and balance for $25. Improper fueling is probably the number one cause of detonation. Go ahead and spend the extra $250 and do it right from the start. rc injectors are nice, but dsms will work.
