It is usually stamped on the housing somewhere a number like 9,12,14,16cm etc.Should spool like 3-4 on a D i would think though.Never seen anyone really push a HX30 to see what it would make. You should measure the wheels as well.

i have a b16 12cm hx35.. spools at 5000 full boost by 6000

d15 with an 12cm hx will be crap.
If this is a street car i'd say go with a t3/t04e 57 trim or an hy35

HX30 is quite a different beast though I think.

Did you eventually apply this turbo to your D15? If yes,
- ever found out the housing size (it is usually stamped into the inside of the turbine entry, one or both sides)?
- did you use a matching twin scroll manifold, or just a simple single entry?
- spool time / streetability / fun factor?

That B16 of yours seems very laggy if I compare the resluts to the DSM guys and other applications.

If you are using the stock divided t housing with a undivided manifold that will not allow the HX35 to fully shine

I know the 4G63's are 2.0 liter but they are seeing 20 psi by like 4500 even using an undivided manifold on a 12cm2 divided housing !!

and 20psi @ 3500rpm on a their 0.55 Bolt On Mitsu style housing !

I have an 18cm^2 H1C on my b16 at the moment. It makes about 3-5 psi between 3500-5000 rpms. At about 5000 it starts to do its thing, spools the rest of the way and is pulling 10.5psi at about 5600.

pretty much exactly what my HE351CW did in my D16A6, except once it hit 5500-5800 it would jump from 10ish to 25 in about the blink of an eye. hahaha once it starts to go it just builds boost like a freight train!!

Got a twin scroll setup on a vitara Z6 and an HX35, I hit boost around 45-4800 and 14.5 at 5-5500.. Should be about the same or a little quicker.. Is that a vband exhaust outlet? If so, what's the diameter? What is the area of the exhaust inlet? I ask because if I can find a twin scroll 9cm I'd like to pick it up... Especially since it'll spool faster than my 12..

I have a d16y8 build going on now im going for 250-300whp with vataras, eagle rods..
Im making some research on holsets and they seem like a good turbo for bang fot buck

i have a friend thats pointing me in the hy35 but my goal is only 250 ish so i dont want a laggy turbo im thinking more in the hx30

Hx30-hx35-hy35 wish would you go with ?
