hks type one turbo timer wiring help
my problem is this i have everything wired up fine except for the rpm wire. hks says i need a 5 volt digital signal. i was thinking about wiring it to the same wire that comes out of the msd for my tach but then found out that it is a 12 volt analog. my question is this are there any other ways to wire it other than buying the level converter through hks for $60. would it work if i wired it up to the alternator?
