Hit the track... finally!
Since we're a bunch of Turbo-philes, I figured I'd let you know of my progress. I finally hit Moroso on Friday in the Civic. I left only mildly dissapointed, but I'll be back Here are my best 3 times:
60' 2.504
1/4 14.417
MPH 99.34
@ 10psi
60' 2.327
1/4 14.458
MPH 99.46
@ 10psi
60' 2.327
1/4 14.587
MPH 96.33
@8psi
My MPH's were consistent 98-99MPH @9.5-10psi, and my 60' times were consistent 2.3-2.4 with a couple exceptions. Overall I was ok with it all, but I still felt I could have done a little better. I was running on nearly no gas and I feel that's what hurt me on my last run which was a 14.45, I felt like the car was sputtering down the track, and that may have been the car having a problem picking up fuel during the acceleration since the pickup is at the front of the tank. BTW this was of course on my Civic which is stock (internally) with RC 440's, 255lph pump and V-AFC trim, running with full interior, nearly no gas and off the stock GReddy DP and on stock street tires (185/60/R14). I'll be back!

You need to work on the 60' times. Did you try lowering the pressure to 20-25 psi in your stocks? At 25 psi in the 14" stocks I run consistent 2.2 60 fts. Even 2.1 occasionally. With that mph you should be hitting high 13's. At 8 psi I ran consistent 13.9's with 2.2 60 fts. at 97.9 to 98.7 mph. Overall, not bad though! Once you get some more practice launching you'll be running good times!
Oh yeah- what is your ignition timing set at at 8-10psi?

Tire pressure was set at about 24-25psi. Ignition is about 3 degrees retard on 93 octane. I'll work on getting into the 2.2's and hopefully some 14.1's

BTW I compltley forgot to mention, what is scarry? I define scarry as the raction to seeing my AVC-R register a spike of .89bar on my second pass when I had it set to .70bar!!!! Whoaaaaa..

I used to lower my tire pressure to around 16 psi on some steelies for consistant 1.9-2.0 60' times. Worked everytime.

Those are some crazy 60' times! A lighter car ('90 hatch) helps too. My bro in his '94 CX hatch runs consistent 2.1 60' times at 20 psi in the stock 14's.

I have no clue yet. Anybody wanna take a shot at what you think I'm dynoin at? Figure, I'm trapping 98-99mph consistently at 10psi, what do you think this should roughly equate to in a full interior 98 Civic EX (2480lb curb)?

I'm guessing close to 190whp with that weight and trap. A fellow Saturn buddy has a T3-Super 60 at 5psi and runs the same traps as you.. his best time is a 14.1 and the car weighs close to 2500lbs. His numbers are 191whp 173ft/lb.
