I didn't either. lol This car had a really good engine combination in it. Made 498whp at 18psi on pump gas, and maxed out the fuel system on race gas (1000's and walbro).</TD></TR></TABLE>

100kpa of that is vacuum. 100kpa = atmospheric pressure, so 270kpa of boost.
On the one i did, is was an 85mm ls block (might have been b20, i didn't build it), full race ramhorn manifold, 6176S, 3" dp, and 2.75" greddy exhaust, ported head, itr cams, edelbrock manifold, big t/b, precision 750 ic, etc. Nothing special, just a good combination of parts.

Your setup still holding together? I couldn't remember if it was you or someone else who blew up the B16 around 600 at the track.

So I'm assuming it was the same one then.

Here is mine not too impressive but I am happy.

Thermal exhaust with the cutout open

The E and S cover are going to make almost identical power. It comes down to the rest of the engine and turbo combination. The turbo is only a small part. Any of these setups that made good power would have also made good power with another turbo. You have to look at everything as a whole when designing a turbo setup, including the engine combination.
I have basically ran every 61mm turbo. SC61, Innovative ITS61, and GT35e. Now running the GT35r. People sound surprised at the power the SC61 can put down. It uses the same compressor wheel as the GT35R and is a nice turbo for the price. I made 388@10psi with the SC61.
