Highest boost a B18B1 can handle?
What's the highest boost a B18B1 can handle? W/ Eagle rods, and about a 9/1 compression. Considering it has the right amount of fuel, Timing, spark, etc...? Is 12-15psi feasible? And what might be a projected output to the wheels? THNX

Hey Tegger LS, remember me in the red Integra around Hazlet?
Mine was running a max of 7psi before I spun a rod bearing. Rebuild is going to be complete real soon. Gonna be running 15-18psi.

Re: Highest boost a B18B1 can handle? (shamoo)
Yeah I remeber. I got my hands on a 95 B18B1 engine, actually a wrecked teg for $800 so I have almost everything, except the tranny housing is cracked. I wanna build it for boost then drop it in a EH2 hatch. 12 second daily driver
did you have a G2 at first or was that someone else?

Re: Highest boost a B18B1 can handle? (dustin)
Your sig said 20psi a couple days ago =P
20psi was my goal at the end of the rebuild. But after reading thru HT and some misc research, I thought 15-18psi was umm...safer.
So....15-18......I just put 18 in the sig.
