Re: High or low impedance injectors? (1strdko)
It's not which are better. They both perform the same. If you have an OBD1 and up car, you use Saturdated injectors right out of the box as this is what the factory comes with. Although, Peak and Hold (low impedance injectors) will work if you wire in a resistor box in the factory wiring.
See here for my write up on how to do that.

Generally the bigger injectors (> than 440) will be peak and hold type although a few companies have some 550's that are saturated (High Impedance).
What car do you have?

Newer cars, use saturated injectors OBD1 + 2. The biggest saturated injectors are ~550cc from RC and will be a direct swap. Beyond that will require a resistor box to use them since they are peak and hold type injectors. Other than how they operate there is minimal pro/con to the differences as far as I know.
I asked the same question a long time ago, here is my thread.

Re: High or low impedance injectors? (1strdko)
So when I do my OBD1 conversion on my CRX I can plug Peak&Hold injectors right in because my CRX comes with a resistor box stock. Correct? Also, I order OBD0 injectors right?
Thanks
Thanks
