Bump - interesting question.
I would assume that a high fuel pressure could damage the fuel pump if not aftermarket.....but thats all i could think of.

It can damage both.....i remember i ran 20psi on a turbo car using a 12:1 fmu with stock injectors....just for the hell of it.....lol...the injectors were finished but the wolboro survived
