Default High flow fuel pump question

I recently ordered a fuel pump (holley) for my car, well it was supposedly for my car. I take my old one out last night and find out it is not even close to the same thing. The guy i bought it from told me it would fit a g2 teg -- according to holley's website they only make them for 94+ tegs. My question is -- can I just modify the wires/pump mount to make it fit ? Is there another holley pump that fits our cars ? My pump is brand new. If anyone has dealt with this before I would really appreciate any input, thanx

I was looking for a 225lph fuel pump for my 2nd gen teg too. I tried Walbro and Holley, but they only make it for 3rd gen tegs. I found a BBK fuel pump in Summit Racing's catalog. It's a BBK 255lph, but if you look at the pump, it's manufactured by Walbro

well i already got it and the guy isnt answering my email. It has the same wiring, so i figure ill get some hose clamps, a harness if i can get one in a junkyard or just some connectors, and put the thing in. Only difference is it uses a harness instead of the nuts for the wires, and different size and filter (as far as i know). Ill let u know how it works out
