Heres a traction problem for you to think about
If I have 350whp and 17x7 wheels, 205/45/17 Kumho tires, and a LSD, will I have major traction problems if I take it to the track?
Any suggestions on cheap setups that work great at the track?
Thanks

Cheap setups? Ummm get your self some stock steelies and the biggest set of slicks you can fit on them. 350whp is going to have traction problems no matter what. Slicks will help a great deal though.

Alright, well I guess I'll just save up for some slicks and find some cheap wheels for when I go to the track.

I hear a set of poly motor mount inserts can almost eliminate wheelhop, which is typically a big contributor to traction probs.

For the track get 13" rims and slicks. You're going to have traction problems on the street no matter what.
