Help whats going on AFC HAck
I have a D16Z6 with T3 turbo with 450cc's 255lph pump no missing link and standard fuel pressure reg.
problem is i have set up my S_AFC but i can only get the car to idle if i st the AFC to -25% at 100rpm, surely this aint right, also when at part throttle around 2000-3000 the car is real jerky, whats the prob??? this is driving me crazy
ALSO at idle my autometer A/F ratio gauge shows nothing or at the most 1 red light, surely this is wrong even with the afc set at -25% at idle.

-25% is what you would expect at idle because the larger injectors take longer to open so for short duration fuel pulses (like at idle) you won't get as much fuel as you would expect based on injector size alone. Bottom line you don't need a large reduction at idle but you need it at higher RPM. Try -20% at idle and -40% everywhere else.

Yup, just play with the idle correction in the neighborhood of -20% until it smooths out. Maybe have an intermediate point too like -30% at 3K. IF you want to be really fancy you can step it up from -20 to -40% in -5% per 1K increments or some **** like that.

I know fuel is cheap in the US but over here it costs about £35 for 220 miles worth

You can see the circuit diagram at http://www.angelfire.com/ab7/diymaplimiter
The first circuit on the site is a MAP limiter for people running an FMU. It takes the place of a missing link.
The second circuit is what I'm running now. It would be what you would want to run to compensate for larger injectors. I sell them built for $20 shipped in the US. I'm not sure what shipping is to the UK. They are only about the size of a pack of matches so it wouldn't be that much. I'm guessing maybe £20 would cover the cost of the board and priority mail to the UK.
