I have a 1993 civic Si. It has a d16z6 with 291,000 kilometres.
I don't know if I should rebuild this engine and boost it. Or get a new z6 with less Kms or get a d16y8
I want to achieve around 300whp. But I want a good build that would blow up right away, I don't wanna go over 4000 if possible.

You should up your budget. And no, if you're only looking for 300whp just build the motor you have, don't spend the money on a swap as you could just use that money for internals. But you will certainly need to up your budge, especially if you plan on having a shop do all the work. Just my opinion.
