Default Help with T3 A/R numbers

I have the opportunity to pick up a T3 turbo for a fairly decent price. I'm kinda new to this and I'm wondering what these A/R numbers mean. I'm told the turbo has an A/R of .42 / .63. Is this a good size for a daily driven LS Teg? People have told me before that .42/.48 is too small, so would .42/.63 be better? I'm not looking for really big numbers, just something that'll be decent for the track, but the cars main use is still my daily driver. Help me out guys. Thanks.

is the motor stock? how much boost do you plan on running? this turbo is bigger than the other t3 you mentioned, ask to see what trim it is. if its cheap i'd get it if you goals are under 300whp

Yeah, the motor is stock. Is there a certain trim I should be looking for? My goals are under 300hp...for now at least. What would .42/.63 be good for? 10-12 psi? I highly doubt i'm gonna go past that...if even that much. I'm guessing the .42 is good for fast spooling, so is the .63 good for decent top end?
