Help Quick BOV Wont Open
Hey guys..just put a BOV on my Greddy TD04h-15g kit and it wont open. It's a TiAL Bov and it never opens...Ive heard of oiling it, but where should I oil it or what else could I try?? Ive got the line out of the top of it T-d off of my Brake Booster line. Thanks guys!!!
It is...the brake booster runs to the intake manifold..I know that it will open off of a brake booster line. It's not even moving a little..can somebody shed some light on this for me?? Where do I grease or oil it??

yea it has to be before the check valve, and also i would recomend another placement for it other than the brake booster line. Why not T it off another regular sized vacuum line?

I teed off of the Brake Booster line because "supposidly" its supossed to be more responsive. By before the check valve do you mean more twoards the booster or more twoards the intake mani?? Its very close to the intake mani right now!

But my check valve is not affecting the BOV....I am on the intake manifold side..so it wouldnt bother the BOVs signal. Can somebody please help me?? All I want is to adjust my TiAL BOV so that I get the coolguy Whoosh sound!!

Brake booster is the best location for it, you get the strongest source of vacuum/boost there... Bigger diameter off the IM.

Dumb question: Are you boosted? That is, does your boost gauge read boost? Make sure there aren't any IC pipes that are loose and leaking boost, I know it sounds dumb, but this has been the case in a couple other BOV not working threads. Just a thought, don't take offense at it
None taken..yes I am getting into boost...but still no BOV opening...my guage reads positive and my wastegate still "flutters" but the damned thing wont open??? Is there any way to adjust a TiAL???
Okay...thanks for all the help guys..borrowed my friends vaccum pump and his refridgeration guages...ran it up to like 40 in/hg before it finally snapped open..it was just stuck. I put some tefron based lubricant on it and it works like a charm now!! Thanks a ton guys!!
