Default HELP!!!! problesm with map sensor i think

hey guys i was on the freeway adn downshifted to third and all of a sudden my engine bogs real hard and the cel flashed on and off really quick. then my tachometer on the stock gauge cluster goes crazy on me. now, when i disconnected my i/c piping, and rev, my tach goes crazy and the cel flashes on and off again. is this the map sensor? it doesnt stall but i thnk my map sensor is somewhat broken....pelase give ur ideas. im afraid that hte motor is bad but it doesnt ahve the symptoms,

When you tach goes crazy its usually your ignitor that is the culprit.
