I have a da with stage2 rev hard turbo w/ walbro fp,aem fpr,and fuel rail. vortech fmu, and whatever else comes in the kit. My problem is when I'm driving, and I get to 3rd gear around 3500 - 4000 rpms it seems like my car isn't getting spark or fuel. It doesn't stall, but it kinda acts like it wants to bakfire until I shift to 4th. Every once in a while i'll get pissed and keep it in 3rd then by like 4000 rpm it will sort of backfire or cut out like it can't go no more and if i keep the throttle down it will start to backfire.. It does this maybe once or twice and sometimes in 4th and 5th and I have to keep it like 3600 rpm. I may be at like 5 or 6lbs or not even when it does this. I don't really go over 5000 rpms. i do have a stock ignition and have 750cc injectors and obd1 conversion in the near future. I also have a 3inch exhaust and ported tb from maxbore.What could the problem be? Thanks for any assistance u can offer. Sorry 4 the long post.

 

hold up, so are you running 750cc now with the fmu or are you planning on getting them in the future?

 

I have the 750 injectors ready to go in. i was told i should get rid of the fmu that comes with the kit. I'm also converting it to obd-1 and installing an msd 6al with blaster 2 coil.
