Help on oil restrictor

Default Help on oil restrictor

I am just about to install a used turbo kit I bought off of here and I wanted to see if this is an oil restrictor or not? Sorry the pictures arent the most detailed. thanks

Looks like a restrictor to me but disconnect that straight piece and see how big the opening is.

no doesnt look like it, its the fitting for the oil line on the back of the motor

Looks way too small to be the fitting on the block for the oil feed and oil pressure sender.

Unscrew the piece that appears to have teflon tape on it and check and see how big the hole is.

na looks like just an adapter to make the -4n fitting go into back of block or extend it a lil

You know what. He's right. You dont have to disconnect it. The opening in the first pic tells it all. Too big.

^^ then no restrictor needed, especially for a turbo like that with a large shaft.
