Default Bore out intake manifold ports...low hp goals

My theory is to bore out my intake manifold passage ways. I havent sized the old gasket to the block to see if it was bigger or smaller but i want to try to get it a few thousand of on inch or more if possible..just to have a smooth air flow..because the motor had sat for a long time. Its a b18a im not shooting for big numbers jus 200 area. The motor will be turbo'd i jus want to maximize what i can. I will be doing this the poor mans way...while im in school at Lincoln tech i will use all there equuipment ...like **** for valve jobs and honing and such. Is this something i should waste time on? Any help would be appreciated..i also take hater bashings well! Thanks in advance cause im only on here to learn...and yes i did search this first.

I understand your logic, but remember, you're not "scavaging" air like an NA car, you're "forcing" that volume of air (hence, forced induction). If you want to do it for the fun of it, fine, but don't expect any drastic results when you decide to turbo the stock engine.
