Default help my new motor smokes and burns oil

motor is a fully build lsvtec. 84mm sleeved arias 9.1 eagle rods. fully build b16 head hondata s100 rc 1000cc and all the other good stuff
motor has about 200miles on it. and yes it is tuned. but it smokes and burns oil. i can wipe the oil off my exhaust tip.

compression is perfect 180psi across the board, and the leakdown is perfect. only leaks about 3% out all 4 cilinders. so is it safe to say that its 100% not the motor and that its the turbo????

turbo is a t3 60-1. -10 return -3 oil feed with a .060 restrictor. and i'm running the moroso catch can and there is no oil in the charge pipes. so i can think of is that its the exhaust side that has blow seals????

i'm sure if i pull the down pipe off there will be oil in it because i can already wipe the oil off my muffler tip so does this mean the turb is tost and the engine is fine?

I would agree your engine is fine. Make sure your oil return line is working properly, stick some clear tubing in there if you can. It could back up, which would fill the turbo up, and eventually pressurize it, either way, oil will go where it can. If your drain line is fine, then yes i'd say you have a turbo issue, what exactly, that i don't know.

New, used turbo?

you can always take off your turbo manifold and look to see if there is oil in it or only after the turbo.

with that compression and leakdown it looks like the turbo leaking unless you forgot to install exhaust valve stem seals..lol

everything on the engine is 100% new except for the turbo. the turbo i bought from a very good friend of mine. i was even with him when he bought it. he put about 3k miles on it and bought a gt35 so i got his oil turbo which was basically still new and as far as i know he did not have any issues with it.

Hows your return line...? Also Check your PCV, maybe add another vent to help with chocking off of the return...

If you installed your middle ring upside down, you can get the same smoking problem and still get perfect leakdown.
