I have been wondering if adding a glass pack resonator on my car would help quiet it

down. I currently have a 3" exhaust with a fart can on it but will soon be changing to a

dynomax ultraflo. The way I understand resonators to work is to muffle the "rasp" noise of

an exhaust but having a turbo already does that right? Please someone smarter than me

help me figure this out?

 

a turbo takes care of ~1/3 of the noise, a resonator would help in addition to that.

 

So I guess my question is should I just get the muffler for now and then maybe add the

resonator?

 

yeah just put the better muffler on and go from there.

 

I agree. Turbo cars are a lot quieter than N/a cars. Unless it is a straight downpipe!!!! get a nice muffler and it should help it out. I have a 5zigen fireball and it is quiet

 

Anybody else with some experience with this? I almost have the money saved up and would like some more input.
