Flowmaster Muffler
I posted this on the Tech board and didn't get any response. The car is turbo (non-honda) so I'll post it here to see if you guys can help me out.
Anyways, I just bought a Flowmaster 40-series "Delta-Flow" muffler for my B6T Festiva. It has a 2.5" inlet and outlet. It isn't a glasspack or anything, just baffled.
Does anyone have any experiences with this muffler? What are some characteristics of the sound? Like is it raspy, low, etc?
It will be connected to a Mazda 1.6liter, 16-valve, DOHC, turbocharged engine, through the factory catalytic converter and 2.5" piping. No resonators.
I'm guessing its going to be fairly quiet, seeing as I can idle the engine in my garage at 1am with an open exhaust (straight out of the turbo).
Any help is appreciated.
