Or use a bigger spring because exhaust backpressure is too high to meet the target boost with full manifold pressure at the top of the gate...

we love boost controlers, when they say AMS500 or AMS1000 on them

would having the gate forced open do that to my power though is another question I had? wouldn't 22-24psi make more power than my tune last year with a smaller turbo and less boost pressure? Or is the exhaust bleeding off causing the turbo to go out of its efficiency range?
