Default help me with my problem please

heres my setup
d16z6 w/ dx tranny (car is a 1993 civic four door dx)
14b turbo hf manifold with plate
no boost controller so boosting about 6 psi
monza bov
450 cc dsm blue tops
vafc2 controller
2 1/2 piping
spearco intercooler
thermal r&d catback
STOCK CAT
act stage 2 clutch/high pp/ 12lb flywheel
b&m shifter
msd cap and blaster 2 coil
ngk vpower plugs set at .30
auto meter a/f gauge and boost gauge (i know the a/f sucks)

heres the problem

car idles great

1st gear shifts great and takes it all the way up to 6500 very hard with no hesitation AT ALL( i can get it to 7500)
but when i shift into second it takes the rpms up to 6000 and stops there for a couple seconds and then slowly climbs up to 6500
if i let off the gas after shifting into second and feather it it wont do it '

im running 06 in 06 out for throttle position
and 98% 99%
and i have all the narrow lvt and hvt as well as wide lvt and hvt at -38% across the board
vtec is at 4400 and from h>l 4200

could i be too rich or do i need to gut my cat to let my car breathe??
help me out please

cat could be an issue, but i'd say you are trying to run your car without any type of idea what its doing. At least take a look at your plugs, but you need to find someone that has a wide band.

I cleaned my plugs yesurday because before i was running a fmu and check valves, i didtched those

Yesturday i put my 450cc in but my throttle wasnt learned on the vafc so it was dumping too much fuel so i had to take them out and clean them (they were drenched in fuel and it turned out one of the wires for the tps sensor was out. I checked the gaps on them and they were .30 and i let my car run for 20 minutes to burn everything and clean them again

ive only had this turbo on for about 2 weeks and id like to get my car dyno tuned next weekend

can you unhook your exhuast before your cat? I know there have been people on here that have had issues with the stock cats in place, or being plugged up anywyas.
