i just got this turbo and i need help to indentify theres no real good marking on it thanks in advance

Borg Warner IHI gm-8, it's off a 6.5L turbo diesel, great for b18c1's from what I heard , friend has the same turbo.

gm-8 not a bad turbo.

the turbine is a bit on the huge size for a gasoline engine though but it will work; drill out the threads on the turbine housing flange so you can use a standard t3 flange w/ studs and weld up the int. gate hole and you're good to go

it's a great turbo... I am running it on my car and it spools really nice... I have a f22 and it spools by 3500 full boost... I like it alot and at idle it whistles too... here are some pics of mine...
