HELP... How do I Remove DSM resistor box.
I recently purchased an EG coupe with a DSM 440's wired in along with a resistor box...I removed the box, Now my car wont stay at idle when I start it up, starts up perfectly fine just dies out though... I am pretty sure its the wiring that from where the DSM's once were. Can someone please shed some light on where I can find the correct wiring.. Thank YOU.
if you arent going to use them ever again, cut the connector off, and solder all 5 wires together. (if thats the only issue)

I can just solder all 5 together to one end? I dont have to slip them back into the plug?

what i am getting at, is you have 12v into the box, and 4 out, if you are using saturated injectors, just splice the 12v into the resistor box to the 4 other wires. thats all that is needed to be done.

This is 100% true.
I've done this on a number of cars. I always boost, then remove and return the car to stock before I sell it.

So I tried just soldering all those wires together and still no normal idle.... Could there be something else I'm doing wrong?

That's how you remove the resistor box. I'm sure there are other things that could be wrong though.
