Default Help Help Help code 43

Ok guys this is what i got ....Its a 93 dx 4 door with a turboed 95 ex motor...Ive got 255 fuel pump , 98 ls injectors (i think there 240s),12:1 fmu ,a new fuel filter ,2 steps colder plugs and i changed the the fuel reg. but its still a stock joint .Thats all as far as fuel goes. Its runs strong until it warms up (hitting 10 lbs of boost about 5 times) then it throughs a code 43 and it leans out but only under a load....If im at idle it bounces between 1500 and 900 ...1500 being rich and 900 lean......The things that i have done to it so far is change fmu, fuel filter, and the reg. Thankx for your help and all your ideas....

Your gonna need an inline fuel pump with those injectors to stop the leaning out. If you upgrade to bigger injectors remember to downgrade your fmu to a lower ratio. ex=310cc with 8:1 or 370cc with 6:1 or do the vafc hack with dsm injectors with no fmu.

10psi with 12:1 fmu is way too much fuel pressure at the rail. Those stock injectors are probably damn maxed out. I would really recommend u stop boosting that much until u get larger injectors. 440s with afc is a good choice..

Ive got some 440s from a dsm but i was told that i could not run them on a afc because it would run to rich .....

do a search on this forum on VAFC Hack and it'll explain everything you need to get your car running right.
