I have been researching a lot on turbos and different turbo kits, and now I wanted to see what everyone else has to say about the issue. I have a 1999 B16 in a 1993 hatchback. My valve train consists of CTR cams,Skunk 2 cam gears, Skunk 2 retainers, Skunk 2 springs, Crower valves, Ferrea bronze valve guides, Ferrea 7 degree valve locks, Tim's Engines Stage 2 port/polish, port match intake manifold, and a 5> valve job. I have a GSR block with JE 9.1 forged pistons, Eagle rods, STR block guard, micropolished journals, and a balanced crank.
C'mon people give me some input!!!!!!!

 

Do it right the first time and go custom, that way you can save yourself money when you have to replace the crapy parts that come with all "kits"Good luck

 

with that much done to the motor, I'd go custom with name brand parts and standalone

 

Just maek sure you take your time with it. Don't rush and make for sure you knw what you're doing. Getting somebody who knows about turbo's is also helpful. Call a couple of shops with exp, and maybe talk to some guys here.... uh..maybe..
