Default Help on the DRAG kit

I have a '00 Integra GSR and I have it all apart right now.
How much of the block do you have to remove...the drag instructions say a 1/4" to 1/2" but we have removed ALOT more than that. We have also cut about and inch off the radiator fan gaurd. How much has every one else cut off. Also how did you get the manifold to connect to the turbo. Cause I am putting the manifold on and then putting the turbo up through the bottom of the car and connecting it to the manifold...Is there an eaiser way? Thanks for all your help.

I cut about 1/2 to 3/4 inch off the block, I still have about 1/4" of extra space for the jerking of the car from the start.
I made a round cut, use a 3/8" drill then smooth it out with a smaller drill bit...

install the turbo to the manifold first, then install the oil return flange to the turbo and the oil feed fitting to the center housing

you'll need to torqye the turbo to the manifold bolt, has to be tight, it's almost imposiible doing it with turbo from underneath...

then insert the manifold and turbo at an angle to the head..it'll fit,,just do it carefully, don;t scratch up the radiator..

The turbo has to be mounted onto the exhaust manifold first, along with the oil feed and drain lines, then the whole assembly can be dropped in from the top. This will be much easier if your buddy pulls up and forward on the ac line to make more room to drop the whole thing in. Initially leave the bolts on the center section loose so you can rotate and clock the housings to line up the compressor nozzle with the intercooler pipe and to locate the oil drain fitting. Use a permanent marker to mark the area of the block that has to be removed. A Dremel with a cut off wheel makes this a quick job...good luck!

What do you need to know? Everything is fairly straight forward
