Default Hello guys Im new to this forum and need help!

So the past few weeks my civic (b16 turbo)started making a sound. usually happens under 3500 rpm. at idle it makes a small taping sound that comes and goes. and when i drive under normal conditions it sometimes makes a loud knocking sound. just changed the oil didnt go away. did the paper on the tail pipe to test for bad valve seal, seemed normal. took each plug wire off at idle to test for rod bearing, nothing conclusive either. checked the timing. seemed normal. last couple times i drove i noticed it seems to go lean for no reason when i try to maintain a consistent speed. had a buddy look at it he told me to replace the fuel pressure regulator. did that. nothing. even when i start it it always goes to lean at idle. did i mention that i had it tuned 3 weeks before i started having these problems?

sorry for the long FIRST post but im kinda stumped on this one which is what brings me here. Thanks!
