Just wondering if anyone has experienced warpage on the head/block mating surfaces due to occational headlifting. I would guess extended abuse would obviously lead to warpage, I'm more curious to unexpected/controlled headlifting.
I believe I experienced it while I was tuning & setting boost controller (12+ psi w/s-trim t3/t04b, stock d16z6). Coolant shot all over the engine after that short pull. So far its taken a lot of abuse in the first 200 miles, leakdown/compression test still fine. I can't say I was surprised, I originally tore the head off, and reused the headgasket & oem head bolts. Honda 'throw away' parts get the
from me.
