Default Headgasket question

Can I use 76mm headgasket with a 75.5mm bore? I got the wrong Cometic headgasket. I asked for 75.5mm ...

send it back or get a OEM and get it bored at the machine shop

you may be able to sand down the edges and get a lil shavings off. I was able to use an 81mm gasket in a 81.5m bore. but that's the other way around, It works fine.
