Default HEADGASKET!!!

I HAVE A F22B1. I BORED OUT THE BLOCK FROM 85MM TO 87MM. WAS WONDERING WHAT IS THE BEST HEADGASKET TO USE WITH THIS SETUP? ITS ALL STOCK WITH JUST RODS AND LOW COMPRESSION PISTONS, PLANNING ON BOOSTING TO GET AT LEAST 280+HP. OR CAN I JUST USE MY STOCK F22B1 HEADGASKET, EVEN IF THE BORE SIZE IS 85MM. ANY SUGGESTION? THANKS.

I would do a custom commetic. I had to on my all motor h2b that was 89mm due to the bore size.

Dont bother with Cometic imo, when I tried to have one made they seemed less than interested in making one for the F22b1. Probably because it is such a small market.

Get an OEM bored gasket from Golden Eagle...

Ive Run OEMs as large as .5 MM bigger than stock bores, but at 89MM (2mm bigger than stock for the H) I ran a GE (bored out OEM) and the job that was done boring it was suspect. Cylinder bores were off center and actually touched the crush rings... I was less than impressed.

I had a MLS Cometic made for 89mm. Its ****. The construction and how clean the cylinder bores are over the GE modded one were noticable right off the bat.

cometic makes great headgaskets without breaking the bank.

GE is OEM (so they say). Mine (GE) was garbage (Not the gasket itself... but the modification was sloppy and lent to fail).. Non MLS Cometic (the composite ones) I wouldnt touch.

The stamped MLS Cometic is 10 times nicer than a bored GE . Ive had both.

Im making over 750 WHP on a MLS Cometic. Its butter, as I mentioned NOTABLY nicer than a hacked GE OEM.

definitely look into the cometic as nog stated or the bisi one. Iv heard a ton of good things about bisi's but cometic is the go to source for that kind of thing BECAUSE they are very good.

Are you on stock sleeves? I'd be a bit worried going that large on stock sleeves.
