Default header wrap on turbo manifold

hey guys sorry if this has been asked before. I did a search but did not come up with the answer I was looking for. Im looking at wrapping my equal length turbo manifold and want to know if there are any downsides to it. I understand this is going to reatain heat in the manifold which some have said will make it more prone to cracking, but im not too worried about that. Other than that are there any downsides to wrapping the turbo manifold in header wrap?

none really, but over time it will make the metal more brittle

Header wrap can trap moisture against the metal, causing rust (even in SS) That and exceptionally high heat will make the thing fail quickly. I wrap my downpipe, but I don't mind replacing the downpipe every year or so. I wouldn't wrap a manifold, too expensive to replace.
