Head Gasket Suggestions?
The motor is a B16 head and a sleeved 84mm GSR block. What other companies provide a gasket for my set up other than Cometic. I gave up on Cometic since this is the second one I've gone through.
what do you mean gone through? as in blown in some way? chances are you either
A: have a warped deck
B: a warped head
C: too much timing in your tune
D: the RA of the wheel used to cut your block or head was not fine enough
other thoughts are using arp head studs if you haven't already

Something is definitely wrong if your going through head gaskets. Find the root cause first. I use Golden Eagle 84mm. If your not familiar with GE gaskets they are OEM but machined to fit any bore size.
Yeah, thanks. I ended up ordering Golden Eagle. I've been outta the "game" for a minute and completely forgot about them.
Well, I've used Cometic head gaskets on 2 different motors and have blown both head gaskets. Two different heads that were freshly machined and 2 different blocks that were also freshly decked... result, blown Cometic head gaskets.
I didn't know Golden Eagle were machined OEM gaskets. That's good to know because I've never had problems with OEM. I'm also thinking of going with OEM head bolts and ditching the ARP studs.
