ok, i know this is a controversial topic with many opinions, disagreements, whatever. for those that are from San Diego and are familiar with AEBS, they were the ones who recommended using their headgasket to lower the compression on my ls motor so i can "boost safely." i was hesitant about going with it because the 9.2:1 cr seems to be ideal for me.
so, will i be able to "boost safely" from 12-14psi was what i was told? what are the effects of a cr that is lower than 9.2:1? will i lose low end torque and have to rely on boost 24/7 to make up for it? i would like some responses from others who have had experience with a headgasket. btw, this will be in conjunction with a hondata (not sure what stage yet) and 550cc injectors. thanks.
