Head Gasket Head studs?????
I have a 91 Honda crx with a b16a bone stock with turbo on 11psi in it... temperature finally changed and its not in the 20's i drove the car and notice it started to over heat and started smoking every time the thermostat would basically open..
my question is what are good head gaskets to run with a lot of people i hear stay with stock I'm going to be putting more boost threw it soon to around 14 to 16 pounds.
I'm going to buy ARP Head studs but just wana know what is a good head gasket stay with stock or is there something better.
Also i have another b16a head from my obd0 b16a engine with all CTR Valve train in it would it be a good idea to go ahead and change it over to it now? and would it be a good idea to get it resurfaced?
so main questions?
what kind of head gasket ?
what kind of head studs ?
and resurface the head even though the block wont be resurfaced ?

Re: Head Gasket Head studs?????
almost everyone uses stock HG's and ARP head studs... the end.
As far as resurfacing as said above it depends on how true they are now... and resurfacing just the head if it seals well now could cause leaks if you're not decking the block too.

Stock JDM ITR block & b16 head. Im using a 3mm Inline Pro headgasket with ARP studs. Running 12psi on a mild tune, this being my third season with this setup.
