head gasket
ok heres the scoop. as of right now my turbo kit is in the process of being shipped to me, i wanna put it on right away and start boosting. The problem: i have a crx with mini-me head swap, high compression, not exactly sure 10.5-11, somewhere in there, if anyone else has done this please let me know what your compression is with stock internals and stock head?? thanks. The bottom end is all stock 126k+ miles on it and the 95 head is basically brand new, with all hte oem parts. My question is do i wait and put a 2mm head gasket on there or can i boost right away?? i wanna be able to run the track this comig up sunday, but im scared that im gonna blow. After a while i want to do it all right and build up the bottom end and then boost like crazy but for now i was thinking 8 psi, is that too much?? i have an internal wastegate with my t3 saab turbo, and i still dont know how i would adjust it even after reading the how to in faqs. if anyone else has their mini-me turbo set up with stock internals at 8psi let me know how it runs and your setup. im getting my kit on thursday at the latest and want to put iton friday or saturday. please help me out, any help will be greatly appretiated, and if i sound retarded that is because i am partly retarded, im only 17 and have been around hondas for about a year and a half. thanks
