i was looking up the ls/vtec kit on GE's site and i came across A1 head studs. does anyone have any experience with these? i already have ARP Main studs and rod bolts but i was thinking of trying to save a few bucks. i've looked up the A1 site and they don't have any info on them.

Ninja edit: A1 head studs are apparently also known as golden eagle head studs

 

A1 makes them for quite a few other companies... they are very high quality... you cant really go wrong with them.

 

so i'm safe with taking these over ARP?

 

I wouldnt have any issues using either... like I said, they make them for a few companies that you wouldnt expect, and then charge a premium for their own name...
