Certain BOV's are rated for a maximum HP setup. If you are running more than the max that BOV can handle I believe this is where running a second one would come into place. Someone correct me if i'm wrong. Though I don't know how you would run the vacuum hose to the second one or if they are T'd off together.

I've even heard some people do it for looks

You realy cant have too much bov. But the way it works is the faster you can get pressure out of the charge pipes the less time you have at spooling up when ripping the next gear. The only one that i have heard give a maximum power rating was the HKS SSQ and that was 450hp.

I would do it to evacuate the gases faster.

Haha I can only imagine the noise that two different brand BOVs together would make...

Maybe when I get my new one, I might just keep the old one on there

Yeah that'd be a real riceboy catastrophe...aw **** man I was trying to impress everyone and my BOV failed...everybody was just laughing at my compressor surge!! Use one with a brass valve like TurboXS or Tial and you won't have to "worry" about it failing like a Greddy or similar.

the turbo xs ones do fail sometimes even though they are brass. the piston locks open or shut because of the clearance inside of it. you have to lubricate the turboxs ones sometimes. if they fail they replace them immediately. they are a very good company none the less.

I've had quite a few turbo xs bov's stick. Go with the tial, it's big enough for over 1000hp yet will still work good on a 220hp honda, and it won't fail...

my girl left me for this stunna with a HKS SSQ. I got a Greddy Type S now. i ran a hose to the side of the car so when it blows off it blows air straight up and lifts the girls skirts they love it.

I went with the HKS Racing Blowoff on my new setup. Only because it clips right in the same spot as the smaller HKS and is good to 43psi of boost according to HKS. Doubt I'll go that high on my street car anyway. Actually I know i wont be at 40+ psi of boost ever in that car. Anyone have any experience with this Blow off or heard anything good or bad?? Never seen one on a honda but i bet the Supra guys run this one. By the way, i was using the standard ssqv at 550+whp and it was working pretty good i thought. I dont think they are limited to 450hp.

well would 2 BOV even work or make any noise?
seeing that pressure is what makes the BOV sound...so having 2 of them would work better for performance but not for the sound seeing that there wouldn't be enough pressure.......UNLESS your boosting like 1bar

someone correct me if I'm mistaken
