I'll let you know in like 3 weeks. I was going 85mm but scratched up the walls a little by dropping a valve...I'm now at 85.5mm.. the sleeves are pretty darn thin..

My bore is now 85mm and it will be dynoed this weekend hopefully up to 28psi, I'll let you know how it holds up. Also Vince had mentioned that the sleeves have been tested with 85mm sleeves up to the 60psi test and he was nervous but it did it without any probs. Just what I read though, I will post my numbers when I get them.

yep, 85mm is a 4mm overbore.

i'm curious to see how the 85mm GE sleeves hold up under high boost, along with the OEM overbored HG.

anyone who does this let us know.

hey boostfed... just wondering, did you enlarge the combustion chamber of the head to match the over sized bore of the block?

85mm shouldn't have any problem holding big boost. I went with 84.5mm just in case I destroy something I can still open it up a little more and salvage the sleeves.

Yeah but if I had it do over again I would've started with 84mm then still would have 1-2 more overbores to go.

Depends on how you calculate the displacement. I do the standard displacement calculations and get 2050cc displacement. Others say that its right around 2000cc displacement. I am still unsure of how people argue what the displacement sizing of an engine is.
