You won't be able to make one... You need an autoclave to make bonded rubber
Cnc machines to make the pulley.

Just go on ebay and buy a stock one. It will work and is much quicker.

Don't need CNC. Manual lathe will do the job.
What I mend by make one was get one from another car that is cheap and available to me, cut my pulley and the new one and do some engineering and make them fit on each other.
Or get one that takes a smaller shaft drill and ream it and make a key way

How about ordering a new one from your main dealer or finding one in a junk yard?

You guys are so negative?
I have also worked in machine shops, and doing a custom once of job in a CNC is a waste of time.
If you do not trust a manual lathe then you are using it wrong....
Yes sure a CNC lathe wins when you have to compensate for taper when it is not correct.
The engine I have does not exist on this side of the world.
Will have a look around to see what pulley will be best to use for the mod.
And obviously it will be balanced after words. lol

I dont know, but I bought a JDM singe belt crank pully a few years ago, which was sealed in the bag with hondas sticker and part number, and have had no issues. I dont rev past 8250, and only make about 200hp, but it is a certified honda part, and is used on something in japan, though I will have to find out what motor it belongs too, I will do my best and get back to you.
I will say that the best engine builder here in cincy said he doesnt recomend running without dampening. So choice is yours.

Im lazy.. I don't feel like hunching over a manual lathe when i can just push some buttons and away lol

you're only making 200hp... NOt enough to matter in this ganesh... And you're running a ctr pulley which is not dampened.. Enjoy your motor while it lasts

OP - Balance isnt the issue, harmonics are. Get a damper!

Had a look around and it looks like a mini cooper S turbo version pulley might be easy to mod and it weighs way less than the oem one that weighs at 2.6kg
I feel more comfortable with a manual lathe when making custom parts, easy to adjust cutting tool position etc

run a dampner. ati is better than fluidampner over all. ati does better in the higher rpms in all the comapariosons ive seen. ive seen a few ctrs destroy oil pumps. ctrs dont use a dampner becasue the rotating assembly is professionally balanced from the factory (internally balanced) the rest arent thats why they put a dampner on them. most bseries are pretty well naturally balanced w/oem parts because of strict quality standards, but unless u get it professionally done then they can have some vibration (maybe not much) and alil turns into alot by the time it reaches the other end. better safe than sorry, an ati is cheaper than rebuilding ur engine.
