half radiator doesnt fit!

PS ls1 in an FD chassis sucks... good way to ruin the balance when you already have a great platform to build on.
Not sayin an ls1 cant be fast... but to each his own... our opinions are best left to ourselves
as for the topic your best bet is to relocat the wastgate like others said you should have plenty of room to the front even with the stock reinforcment

dont go into the weight distribution on the FDs. With an Ls1 the weight dis is still right near 50/50. With the wheel base, engine and driver location, it barely affects it. They are a little back heavy with the driver stock, some people say it makes it better with an extra 150lbs in the front end.

yet still weighs 150 lbs more... with a street port and a few basic mods you can make almost 400 on stock twins. like i said to each his own.. i was defending you anyways
