Default half radiator doesnt fit!

I only have 12 inches between my headlight and wastegate! a half radiator doesnt even come close to fitting! I tried tilting it back and tucking it somewhat behind the headlight and it overheated like a mother (knew it was going to happen)

i dont want to pay $350+ for a custom radiator, do i have any other options?

its a crx gsr SC61

EDIT!: problem fixed! see page 2!

Your best bet would be a custom or go to the junk yard and try to find something that fits.

WTF you doing running a stock intake mani?>

PS b-series in a EF chassis just sucks...

Sorry.

Why not move the wastegate to the top of the mani somehow, looks possible, might be the easiest way without getting a custom radiator.

The question is, was this manifold made for this chassis, and if so, what sort of radiator is it designed for?

I see two choices. Spend $400 on a custom radiator that will fit, or spend $400 for a manifold that will fit.

what are you talking about? stock intake mani with open plenum is very good for forced induction.

Yea wtf are u talking about? B series is fine in ef chassis, its when u turbo it starts getting cramped.
If u don't like it then get an eg, simple as that, otherwise enjoy the lightweight fun

full race makes a half size radiator for the crx that should work its about 12x12 i bought one for my integra to fit with the peak boost manifold and wastegate. I made it fit and havent had anything close to an over heating problem yet. It is pricey($300) but it works nice.

you can hit up i think passwordJDM has a cheap crossmember. its a factory replacement sort of thing with better clearances for bigger downpipes. and it also has provisions for half core radiators. however im unsure of that clearance between the WG and radiator. even on an EG i think its a shitty placement and needs revising.

I think the slanted radiator looks slick. If you dont want to do that tho, have someone modify your manifold so the wastegate doesn't go off at such an angle. Or buy a wastegate elbow.
