what do I not need (or need), And who is the best AEM tuner in DFW
I'm almost done with my rebuild. Below is a list of crap I have, some of it I do not think I need anymore. Do I still need the inline fuel pump and the FMU?
Also who should I get to tune it when its complete?
ENGINE (B16A2):
Block
-GE sleeved
-84mm low cr JE pistions and rods
-ARP studs
Head
-Oversize intake and exhaust SS valves
-Port match, and polished head, intake, header
Tranny
-Qualfe LSD
S/C
-vortech V-5 SQ
-smaller pulley 3.12" from 3.7"
-aftercooler
-BOV
Fuel:
-intake Holley 255lph
-inline 155lph (came with vortech)
-vortech FMU (I thought it came with 12:1 but looks like its 6:1)
-550cc RC injectors
-Holley FPR
Ignition:
-MSD SCI
-blaster coil 2
-Nology wires
Electerical:
-AEM EMS
-Oil presure guage
-Boost guage
-A/F ratio
-I'm going to get the Bosch LS4 wideband O2

No you don't need the FMU or inline pump any more.
As far as the best AEM tuner in DFW area, check out the AEM forum or the tuner directory thread on here. I think Tony1 can tune with AEM but prefers other systems.

Re: what do I not need (daveG)
Im not having too much luck searching on the AEM forum. Most of the listing has no replys to peoples questions. I think I might be blind, I cant find the tuner directory on here either.

PM Tony1, I know he's in Dallas. Theres also some shop that does a lot of Supras using the AEM EMS down in Texas somewhere and they post on the AEM forum a lot, but I can't think of the name right now.
