h22 wont idle
hi just did an h22 swap on my accord and it wont idle at all and i have to advance the timing all the way for it to starts and rev and its running really rich
I did a vacuum test and it says i have slow timing but i cant advance the timing anymore need help please

Have you checked that the throttle body stop is in the right spot and closes properly/doesn't stick/bind?
Also check the idle air valve, it might need to be cleaned.
But advancing timing like that normally means a vacuum leak
Here's a simple way to tell
Take a can of brake cleaner and spray it at every mounting flange/gasket area, any where along the intake tract where there could be a leak. If you have one the rpm will climb as the motor burns the solvents
Is this motor na or boosted?
Stock ecu?
Bigger injectors?
We need a detailed list of what's been done... modifications, etc to be able to help you properly
Also check the idle air valve, it might need to be cleaned.

and how do i do the vacuum leak test since it doesnt idle i get a friend to hold the rev while i do it?
