h22 engine build
ok i'm on my final stage's of getting the engine build done. i need to know what parts to buy. here's my list so far that i have.
turbo setup:
love fab EQ
tial 38mm waste gate .5 bar or about 7lbs
sc61 .63a/r
600hp PTE heat exchanger<i have not bought piping yet i was going to go with mild steel and have it painted??? whats you choice on this?>
tial 50mm BOV
turbo smart e-boost controller
70mm throttle body bought from earl last night i think str/BDL it was the average price for one and earls a good guy and would let me buy crap.
skunk2 proseries intake manifold which will need to be port matched for the TB.
h22 head 5 angle port and polish. skunk 2 retainer, springs and valves 1mm over.
crower stage 2 turbo cams.
arp head studs
87mm sleeved motor< not sleeved til next week though>
cp pistons<not bought yet> (9.0:1)
eagle rods.
arp mains <have not bought yet>
polished crank.
i'm going h2b but have not bought yet?
looking for a fly wheel seth said go alum., but other have told me to go chromolly flywheel.
As for the clutch someone saidn twin disc exedy and tilton.... but is there one just as good but less money? 1600 for a clutch ouch i can do it but damn man. i can put that money else where in the project if i can find one that will hold 350 daily and 550-600 on race day.
Then a gsr tranny with lsd and a stage 3 DSS with hasport mounts.
let me know if i've gone wrong somewhere in my set up.
Also i have aem ems <IMO> it sucks.
i need a good tuner and now one lives near me.
so i'm going chrome. we got tuner's or that.

The Tilton price includes clutch, Press. plate & fwhl. It would be touchy for street use but stands up to serious power.

we got a guy who cryotreats engine parts for strength. also what parts should i get done?
rods pistons???..ect he's pretty cheap. he charged my uncle on his hot rod to do some v8 valve springs for 40 dollars.
