Fully built H22 Borg warner Turbo choice??
Hi guys I am a newbie lol. Im building my first boosted car I learned a lot but still don't know enough but been teaching myself as I go wether it be friends or searching forums and reading. But wanted a little more insight and opinion on which borg warner 300 series to choose. So far I like the 364 sxe or the 362 sxe, looking for quick spool and can support 700WHP.
Heres a little bit about the build so far:
Darton sleeved H22a
9.1 87mm CP Piston
Crower I Beam turbo rods
ARP Head Studs
Polished and balanced crank
1mm over sized valves full ferrea head
Head ported polished 3 angle valve job
Stock Cams
Golden eagle intake manifold
2200cc Grams injectors
Sheepy custom T4 manifold
60mm Turbosmart Powergate
Sheepy intercooler
Any opinions would be awesome and really appreciated thanks..

Re: Fully built H22 Borg warner Turbo choice??
You parts list seems solid, maybe a set of Pro 1 Cams would be a good addition to maximise power since you looking for good spool (not familiar with other H22 cam offerings...)
The S362, 363 and 364.5 SX-E's should all reach your target, the smaller ones will just need to be pushed a bit harder to do so. I'm assuming you will be running E85 or Race gas. The S362 will offer the quickest spool whilst the 364.5 will have the most top-end punch and leave some power in reserve.
Perhaps the S363 SX-E with 68mm turbine will hit the sweet spot for your setup considering the 78 lb/min flow rate.

Thanks for the response much appreciated, A lot of good information. I just got the engine back from machine shop putting it back in now for break in then order turbo. I did see they said the new BW 364.5 spools like a 360 and flows similar to a 366. Wasn't sure if that was in general or a certain displacement they used lol
